Fixer in Nepal for visiting professionals

Savitri Rajali, Nepal fixer, on assignment for National Geographic Traveler Netherlands in Mustang, Nepal.

Getting access to places, people and information in Nepal can be a frustrating and time consuming affair for any visiting journalist, photographer, filmmaker or researcher.

Most local organizations or government offices never reply e-mails or telephone calls. With illiteracy at a staggering 54% and English speakers few and far between outside urban areas, tracking down a source or contacting a remote community can quickly become a wild-goose chase or just impossible.

I solve these kinds of problems on a regular basis for foreign media professionals, researchers and even NGO’s or commercial clients that need a reliable contact or assistant in Nepal.
